Made by Tokaido in Japan, the SEN-閃-SPARK kata do-gi was developed through extensive research and investigation with competitors of many styles and organizations competing in WKF Kata Competitions. It features specialized sizing that provides ease of movement and a distinctive style, with a heavier weight that enhances the characteristic “snap” sound made during kata performances. The uniform uses a 10oz blend of 70% cotton and 30% polyester, ensuring strength, comfort, and ease of movement while maintaining a distinctive kata style. The SEN-閃-SPARK uniform is cut in the traditional Japanese fashion, meaning these uniforms are typically narrower on the hips and shoulders while featuring shorter kimono sleeve length, shorter pants length, with a longer kimono skirt that typically ends mid-thigh or below.
