What is the difference between Japanese Cut vs American Cut Uniforms?

There's two main differences between the American Cut and the Japanese Cut Gis. The length of the sleeves and pants and the length of the jacket skirt.

Japanese cut uniforms will have shorter sleeves and shorter pant lengths. Similar to a Capri cut in clothing. The jacket length will be longer

American Cut uniforms will have regular length sleeves and pants. The jacket skirt will be shorter.
